Estimate — not official. The 8th Pay Commission has not announced a fitment factor.

Not a government website

This website is an independent, privately run information tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or part of the Government of India, the Ministry of Finance, the Department of Expenditure, the Department of Pension & Pensioners' Welfare (DoPPW), the Central Pension Accounting Office (CPAO), the Ministry of Defence or the Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare, SPARSH, any Pension Disbursing Authority or bank, or the 8th Central Pay Commission. Names of government bodies are used only to describe the rules and announcements we refer to.

All results are estimates

As of 28 October 2026, the 8th Central Pay Commission has not submitted its report, and the Government has not announced a fitment factor, a revised pension structure, a new minimum or maximum pension, or a date of effect. Every figure produced by the calculators, charts and examples on this website is therefore a hypothetical estimate based on:

Your actual revised pension, family pension and arrears will be decided only by official Government orders and fixed by your Pension Disbursing Authority. They may differ substantially from any estimate here.

Not financial, legal or tax advice

Nothing on this website is financial, legal, tax or investment advice. Do not make financial commitments — such as loans, purchases or investment decisions — on the basis of estimated pension or arrears. For your individual case, consult your PPO, your Pension Disbursing Authority, your bank's pension cell, the DoPPW (doppw.gov.in), CPAO or, for armed forces pensioners, SPARSH and DESW.

Accuracy of information

We take care to base current rules on official sources (CCS (Pension) Rules, 2021, DoPPW orders and PIB releases) and to date every update. However, rules change, orders are amended and errors can happen. We make no warranty that the information is complete, accurate or up to date at the moment you read it. Information about demands by unions and associations is taken from published news reports and is labelled as such.

Defence, railway and other pensioners

The calculation follows the general method for central civil pensioners. Armed forces, railway, autonomous body, state government and bank pensioners may be governed by different rules, orders or timelines. In particular, disability and war injury elements, OROP revisions and state government pay commissions are not covered.

Beware of fraud

This website never asks for an OTP, bank details, PAN, Aadhaar, PPO number or any payment. There is no official "8th Pay Commission calculator" app. If anyone asks for such details to "calculate" or "activate" a revised pension, it is fraud — report it to 1930 or cybercrime.gov.in.

Frequently asked questions

Is the 8th Pay Commission fitment factor on this site official?

No. None of the fitment factors is official as of 28 October 2026. They are scenarios for estimation.

Can I rely on the arrears estimate?

Only as a rough guide. Actual arrears depend on the official date of effect, the revised pension and the DR actually drawn each month.

Who decides my actual revised pension?

Your Pension Disbursing Authority, following orders issued by the Government after it accepts the Pay Commission's recommendations.
